Professor Andrea Brancale

Professor Andrea Brancale is the Scientific Director of the Life Sciences Research Network Wales and is an expert in medicinal chemistry. Originally starting at Cardiff University in 1997 as a PhD student, Professor Brancale has built a research group that uses computer-aided design and classical chemistry techniques to develop novel anti-cancer drugs. With an international network of multidisciplinary collaborators and an impressive catalogue of publications, Professor Brancale is a leader in anti-cancer drug development.
