We are delighted to be an associate partner for the 2024 Principality Cardiff Half Marathon, helping to transform the lives of people living with cancer in Wales.

The Principality Building Society Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in the United Kingdom, with over 27,500 registered runners.

The flat, fast course will return on 6th October 2024, and will pass all of the city’s most breath-taking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, and the stunning Cardiff Bay.

Cancer Research Wales is an all-cancer charity, and we are committed to changing the meaning of a cancer diagnosis by making it easier to diagnose, treat and cure.

Your support will help bring better treatments closer to home for patients across Wales.

Join #TeamCRW today and help change the future for the cancer patients of tomorrow in Wales. Rest assured we will be with you every step of the way.

Each participant will need to commit to raising a minimum of £300 in sponsorship for this event. Shortly after registering you will be given a dedicated contact here at Cancer Research Wales who will support you through every step of this exciting journey.

Your race entry will also include::

  • Bespoke fundraising pack
  • Regular event updates
  • Support from our #TeamCRW Running Club Facebook group
  • Information on Cancer Research Wales and our latest research projects
  • Branded Cancer Research Wales running t-shirt (when £50 of fundraising target has been achieved)
  • An opportunity to create a brighter future for cancer patients in Wales and their families

By registering for this event with Cancer Research Wales, you agree to the Event Participant Terms and Conditions, and agree to share your data with the event organisers and partners.

If you already have your own place in the race we would be delighted to have you run with our team and help fundraise for our research in Wales.
