Professor Andrew Sewell is world-leading expert in T cell biology, based in the Systems Immunity Research Institute at Cardiff University. Originally joining Cardiff University in 2006, Professor Sewell has built a large research group focused on understanding how T cells recognise their targets and applying this to create novel immunotherapies. With an impressive track record of publications and clinical trials, Professor Sewell is recognised internationally as being at the forefront of a field with the potential to revolutionise cancer treatment.
