Professor Kate Brain
Professor Kate Brain is the Associate Director for Population Health in Cardiff University’s College of Biomedical and Life Sciences and is a leading authority in health psychology. Joining Cardiff University in 2004, Professor Brain has gone on to build a large team of researchers focusing on understanding the psychological and socioeconomic factors that influence cancer inequalities and attitudes towards cancer screening and diagnosis. With a huge catalogue of publications and a network of both national and international collaborators, Professor Brain is recognised as a leading figure in psychosocial research in cancer.
