Reimagined Fashion

Event type

Competition

Deadline

31st January 2024

Cancer Research Wales is thrilled to announce that we are working with Cardiff Metropolitan University, University of South Wales and Cardiff and Vale College on an exciting fashion design competition for students in Wales.

We’re inviting students to revolutionise fashion by embracing sustainability and creativity as part of our ongoing 'Stripe a Pose' campaign.

The Challenge

In this unique competition, we’re challenging students to design a fashion couture outfit using exclusively pre-loved clothing and materials.

With the design theme ‘Stripe a Pose’, we want students to breathe new life into old garments, showcasing how powerful fashion statements can be made in an ethical and sustainable manner along the theme - 'Stripe a Pose’.

The Reward

The winning designs will be showcased at our first Cancer Research Wales Sustainable Fashion event in 2024.

The winning designs will also be featured across our social media channels and retail outlets.
