This autumn, we’re encouraging people across Wales to get dancing, get moving, and have some fun – all while raising funds for Cancer Research Wales’ life-changing work.
Cancer Research Wales is the only charity wholly dedicated to funding cancer research in Wales, for Wales. One in two of us will get cancer, which means we will all be affected by cancer in one way or another.
To tackle this, our research is happening all over Wales, in our communities, our hospitals, our GP surgeries. It’s making Wales a healthier, and better place to live. Our work has never been more important. By 2030, it’s estimated that 230,000 people across Wales will have cancer.

Wear your stripy tops, socks, trousers - even stripy hair! Capture your moment and share a photo or video on social media using #StripeAPose and tagging @CancerResearchWales.
Join the movement
TikTok sensation Lewis Leigh has created a brand-new Stripe a Pose dance to lead this year’s campaign. Film your own version, and post it online on the 24 September to show your support.
Get others involved
Get your friends, family, school, or workplace involved. Or go the extra mile - host a bake sale, organise a quiz, or take on a run, cycle, or walk in stripes. Every action helps raise vital funds.
