This is a unique opportunity to join our highly successful Events Fundraising team as we are looking for someone who is passionate about challenge events. Cancer Research Wales has large community of supporters taking part in running and challenge events every year – we’ve seen over 2000 people fundraise this way for the charity in 2025! As well as managing existing events to recruit new supporters and ensure they have a positive experience, you will also identify new opportunities to develop other events that could further grow our community of supporters.

The Shop Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the store, working to maximise income for the charity. The post holder will be self-motivated, passionate about providing high standards of customer service and creative, with excellent communication skills. Representing the charity in the community, you will recruit, motivate, and develop volunteers to promote the work of Cancer Research Wales.

This role is an exciting opportunity of becoming part of the store management team, by being involved in managing the store team in the absence of the Shop Manager / Deputy Manager. The post holder will be responsible for great customer service working with our fantastic volunteer team. As part of this role, you will become a Key Holder and will receive a full management induction program.
