Cancer Research Wales is the Welsh cancer research charity and since 1966 our pioneering research has been saving lives. We have invested over £30 million to fund the best researchers, clinicians and health professionals to push the boundaries of research into cancer discoveries here in Wales. Our work is making Wales a healthier and better place to live and we are recruiting new members to our Board of Trustees. We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board. We would welcome applications from people with experience in the following areas: Human Resources, Media (communications and/or marketing), Fundraising and Online Retail. You do not need previous governance experience – we will provide a full induction and training. Our trustees make sure that Cancer Research Wales achieves its core purpose by overseeing the overall management and administration of the charity.
