Cancer Research Wales is the Welsh cancer research charity – we are the only charity dedicated to funding new cancer research in Wales.

For 60 years, the charity has advanced our understanding of cancer, and its treatment, by funding world-class cancer research in Wales. The charity funds cancer research proposals submitted by scientific investigators and clinicians working within Welsh Universities, the NHS and other academic and/or research institutions in Wales.

The Board of Trustees for Cancer Research Wales provides legal oversight, strategic direction, and final approval for research funding, ensuring the charity meets its mission to fund world-class cancer research and improve patient outcomes across Wales.
