Research Funding Manager

This is an opportunity for someone who is creative and passionate about fundraising to join a team that is helping to save and extend people’s lives from the heart-breaking impact of cancer. The Supporter Care and Fundraising Officer will provide high levels of stewardship to our supporters, ensuring a consistent, positive and memorable experience with Cancer Research Wales. You will be a Super-User and system admin for our CRM database and provide support with data-led decision making. You will provide admin support to all teams in the fundraising team to enable them to be efficient and effective.

The Deputy Manager will assist the Shop Manager in the day to day running of our charity shops, to help build and work with a team of volunteers to support and assist in all duties. The Deputy Manager will also act as Shop Manager in their absence. The post holder will have a broad range of responsibilities which will require significant initiative and flexibility, ensuring they work at all times in a professional and timely manner.

This role is an exciting opportunity of becoming part of the store management team, by being involved in managing the store team in the absence of the Shop Manager / Deputy Manager. The post holder will be responsible for great customer service working with our fantastic volunteer team.
