Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Every October, we come together to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month - raising awareness, supporting those affected by breast cancer and funding vital cancer research in Wales.
Throughout the month, we’ll be encouraging supporters, schools, workplaces and community groups to get involved through fundraising events, awareness activities and personal challenges. Whether you organise something big or small, every effort helps make a difference.
Get involved this October
There are lots of ways to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, including:
- Hosting a coffee morning or bake sale
- Holding a pink-themed fundraiser
- Taking on a personal challenge
- Organising a workplace or school fundraising day
- Wearing pink to raise awareness
- Making a donation in support of cancer research
However you choose to take part, your support will help fund life-changing research and raise awareness across Wales.
Our new pink pin badge
This year, we’ll also be launching a brand-new sparkly pink pin badge to help supporters show their support throughout October.
Perfect for wearing at fundraising events, in the workplace or day-to-day, the badge is a simple way to help raise awareness and start conversations while supporting Cancer Research Wales.
More information on how to get involved, fundraising ideas and campaign resources will be available soon.
Support cancer research in Wales
By taking part in Breast Cancer Awareness Month, you’ll be helping to support vital research, improve outcomes for patients and bring hope to families affected by cancer across Wales.
Together, we can make a difference this October.
