Dr Chris Staples

Dr Chris Staples is a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at Bangor University, specialising in DNA repair mechanisms in cancer.
Joining Bangor University in 2015, Dr Staples has built his research group focusing on how cancer cells repair and protect their DNA to resist treatments, with the ultimate aim of designing new drugs to combat these processes. With extensive lecturing and research experience, Dr Staples is at the forefront of this exciting field.
