Lisa Buckley

Lisa Buckley is the Head of Income Generation at Cancer Research Wales. 

She brings to the charity over 20 years of extensive experience in the charity sector. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with esteemed clients and organisations such as Welsh Government, Event Wales, Amgueddfa Cymru, Clwb Ifor Bach, WCVA, Third Sector Support Wales, and worked for Richard Newton Consulting. 

Previously, Lisa held the Head of Supporter Engagement at the Royal Osteoporosis Society, where she excelled in public fundraising, fostering a supporter base of over 18,000 members.

Lisa is a passionate advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in fundraising and prioritises employee well-being in all aspects of her work. At Cancer Research Wales she leads a motivated team, driving innovative strategies to secure funding that supports groundbreaking cancer research, ensuring the charity's vital contributions to improving health outcomes in Wales.
