Writing a Will and leaving a gift

Making or updating your Will is something we often put off, but it’s one of the most important documents you’ll ever make. A Will is the only way to make sure your wishes are carried out, and will not only give you peace of mind, but make things easier for your loved ones too.

It’s straightforward to put a Will together and doesn’t need to be expensive. We always recommend you get professional advice, so you can make sure your Will is written properly and meets your requirements.

You may have a solicitor you already use, but if not, you could ask someone you know to recommend one, or find one in your local area on the Law Society website. Alternatively, you can make your Will through one of our free Will writing services.

To include Cancer Research Wales in your Will, you need our full charity name, address and registered charity number:

Cancer Research Wales

Registered Charity Number: 1167290

If you do decide to leave a gift in your Will to Cancer Research Wales, please consider letting us know as we’d love to thank you. However, we respect your privacy and understand if you’d rather keep it to yourself. Read more about our promise to you when you leave a legacy to Cancer Research Wales.
