Cancer Research Wales names new charity ambassadors
‘Magnificent Seven’ to support Cancer Research Wales

Millie-Mae Adams, Jamie Baulch, Mari Grug, Angela Jay, Philippa Tuttiett, Nigel Walker and entrepreneur Rob Lloyd are the new ambassadors for Cancer Research Wales.
They have all been appointed to the voluntary roles in recognition of the support they give to the Welsh cancer research charity.
The seven will help raise Cancer Research Wales’s profile and act as representatives for the charity and help with activities such as fundraising.
Welcoming the new ambassadors, Cancer Research Wales’s Chief Executive Officer – Adam Fletcher said:
“It’s my privilege to welcome our very own ‘Magnificent Seven’ to Cancer Research Wales and I’m very excited to have the support of such incredibly talented and high-achieving individuals for our charity.
“We have ambassadors who have competed at the Olympics and the Commonwealth Games; one has floated a company on the London Stock Exchange and two have set up their own successful businesses and are keen philanthropists.
“Meanwhile we have two of Wales’s most respected and prominent broadcasters onboard as well as a medical student and social change campaigner who also happens to be Miss World Wales – it’s an incredible and diverse range of talent and experience and I’m looking forward to working with all of our ambassadors.”
