Celebrate our 60th birthday in style at your local Cancer Research Wales shop
Celebrate 60 years of Cancer Research Wales this summer by visiting one of our shops and taking part in our Vintage 60 festival between 26 July and 1 August.
You can get involved in Vintage 60 by shopping in the vintage sale at our Whitchurch shop in Cardiff, or you can take part in tombola at Bangor, Llandudno, Caernarfon, Rhiwbina, Merthyr Tydfil and Wrexham.
Win a hamper and 60% discount
As part of our 60th anniversary, at Talbot Green, you can donate 60p on top of your purchases, enter a draw to win a hamper of goodies in Swansea or take part in our birthday raffle in Neath.
Our Merthyr Tydfil shop is offering a 60% anniversary discount on all clothing between 31 July and 1 August and our store in Penarth is running a pop party theme for the week with its staff dressed in vintage clothes.
60s themed games and fancy dress
Blackwood is running 60s themed games and will have a 60s themed window display; Killay is hosting a range of different activities across the week including a table-top sale, a teddy tombola and a bucket collection.
Chepstow is getting involved in the 60th celebrations by hosting a range of different activities over seven days including fancy dress and a birthday selective sale.
Window display and raffle tickets
Pop along to our pop-up shop in Trago Mills outside Merthyr Tydfil and get 20% off your purchases and enjoy our 60s window display.
In Wrexham, call in for our cake sale and raffle and marvel at the window display put together by our talented team.
Customers calling in to the Bangor shop as part of the Vintage 60 festival will be given a raffle ticket if they spend £10 or over, and there's a 20% discount running for the week.
Shop network's 60th anniversary celebrations
Cancer Research Wales Head of Retail Lorraine Boyd said: "Since 1966, Cancer Research Wales has been funding life-saving and life-prolonging cancer research here in Wales for the people of Wales, and Vintage 60 is our shop network's celebration of our incredible 60th anniversary.
