Dr Paul Facey is an Associate Professor in Biomedical Sciences at the Swansea University Medical School. 

Dr Facey's research interests lie in understanding the microbiome - the huge numbers of bacteria that live within the human body. Through genomic and bioinformatic techniques, the research aims to elucidate the interplay between the microbiome and the host.
