Lorraine Boyd

Lorraine Boyd is Cancer Research Wales’s Head of Retail. Since joining the charity almost three years ago, Lorraine has expanded our retail operation and taken it from three shops to 15, with four having opened in 2024 alone.

She previously worked as a general manager for the Arcadia Group for over 25 years, during which time she moved across the business and experienced a variety of roles and support functions, including opening and re-fitting stores, troubleshooting and training all levels of management.

Lorraine is experienced in all aspects of senior management and has a passion and focus for succession planning and training initiatives. A passionate leader who is confident in managing change, Lorraine wants to raise awareness of Cancer Research Wales and is very proud of what the charity stands for.

An active member of her local community, during the pandemic, Lorraine volunteered delivering food parcels to those in need.
