Mari Grug

Mari Grug is a well known tv presenter on S4C and currently presents the popular daily programmes Heno and Prynhawn Da. 

She is also a regular on Radio Cymru and is responsible for the podcast discussing cancer called ‘1 mewn 2’. In July 2023 she revealed she had been undergoing treatment for metastatic breast cancer.

She began her career as a children’s presenter with ‘Planed Plant’ before presenting some of Wales’s largest cultural events such as the Urdd and National Eisteddfod, the Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells and was part of the weather presenting team for 6 years. As a mother of three life is busy but a lot of fun.
