Millie-Mae Adams

Millie-Mae Adams is Miss World UK and a third year medical student at the University of Exeter. In March 2023 she founded Exeter Street Doctors - a charity empowering young people in the community with the tools to save lives and counteract knife crime and violence.

A proud Welsh-speaker, her passion for the language led to her coordinating the first Welsh language Street Doctors session. As a doctor in training, saving lives is at the core of what she does, but Millie-Mae wanted to widen her reach. 

She created ‘Medic Millie Mondays’, a series of videos educating the public about medical topics such as how to check your breasts for lumps, how to recognise red flag cancer signs, and many more. 

With a strong family history of cancer, this role as an Ambassador for Cancer Research Wales is very special to her.
