Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The 60th Anniversary Diamond Raffle is operated as a charitable lottery in support of Cancer Research Wales.

The raffle is promoted by: Lisa Buckley, Head of Income Generation, Cancer Research Wales, 22 Neptune Court, Vanguard Way, Cardiff, CF24 5PJ. Registered Charity Number: 1167290.

2. Eligibility

• Entry is open to all residents of Great Britain aged 18 years or over.
• Tickets must not be purchased by or on behalf of anyone under the age of 18.
• Anyone found to be under the age of 18 at the time of entry will automatically forfeit their entry and any right to a prize.

3. Entry period

• The raffle will open on 8th June 2026.
• The raffle will close at 11:59pm on 30 November 2026.
• Any entries received after the closing date will not be entered into the draw and will be treated as a donation.

4. Ticket purchase and entry

• Ticket payments must be made through the authorised raffle platform or approved sales methods only.
• Tickets remain the property of Cancer Research Wales until full payment has been received.
• The organisers reserve the right to refuse or cancel entries where there are reasonable grounds to believe these terms and conditions have been breached.
• Incomplete or unclear stubs may invalidate entry.
• Entrants will be limited to purchasing a maximum of 100 tickets.

5. The prize draw

• The prize draw will take place on 7 December 2026.
• Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date.

6. Prize details

First prize: Clogau® Celebration 9ct Solid Gold Necklace with 0.5ct Lab-Grown Diamond (RRP £880)

Second prize: Two tickets to Blackweir Live 2027 (event of winner's choice, subject to availability and artist announcements)

Third prize: £100 cash prize payable via bank transfer

• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
• No cash alternatives will be offered except where expressly stated.
• If any prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the organisers' control, Cancer Research Wales reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value.

7. Winner notification

• Winners will be notified using the contact details provided at the time of entry, either by telephone or email, within 14 days of the draw taking place.
• Prize winners will also be published on the Cancer Research Wales website.
• If a winner cannot be contacted within 28 days of the draw date, or declines the prize, the organisers reserve the right to redraw the prize or treat it as forfeited.

8. Publicity

By entering the raffle, winners agree to the reasonable use of their name and/or photograph for publicity and promotional purposes connected with the raffle, unless prohibited by law or otherwise requested in writing.

9. Data protection

Personal data supplied during the course of this raffle will only be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and for the purposes of:

• administering the raffle,
• contacting winners,
• and fulfilling legal or regulatory obligations connected with the raffle.

10. Liability

• Cancer Research Wales accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, incomplete, damaged or not successfully submitted due to technical or other reasons beyond their control.
• The prizes have been generously donated in good faith. Cancer Research Wales accepts no responsibility for the quality, suitability or availability of prizes once awarded.

11. General

• Participation in the raffle constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
• The decision of Cancer Research Wales in all matters relating to the raffle is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
