Not only could you take on the fastest zip line in the world and the longest in the UK (Velocity), but you'll be supporting our world-class research projects, providing people across Wales with hope for a better future.
We're proud to partner with Zip World to offer a variety of thrilling challenges, giving you the opportunity to experience an incredible adventure while fundraising for Cancer Research Wales and helping to fund vital cancer research.
You can choose between Velocity at Penrhyn Quarry and Titan at Llechwedd Quarry in North Wales, or the Stadium Flyer and Stadium Drop at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, in South Wales. Each participant will need to commit to raising a minimum sponsorship (see details upon booking).
Shortly after registering your place with a deposit, you will be issued with a fundraising pack and contacted by Zip World to confirm your challenge date.
You will have a direct contact here at Cancer Research Wales who will support you through every step of this exciting journey. The funds raised will help us get one step closer to our vision of a Wales united against cancer through world-class research.

When can I do it?
You can book any date that suits you (subject to availability) and are more than welcome to book as a group. Velocity and Titan have options for up to four people to take on a challenge at the same time.
Secure your adventure early and give yourself something epic to look forward to. Get the date in the diary, rally your crew and start the countdown. The earlier you book, the more time to fundraise.
What's it like?
Velocity
Soar up to 100mph+ on the world's fastest zip line at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry in North Wales. This unbeatable zip wire adventure combines adrenaline, breathtaking views and rich Welsh heritage. Travel just over one mile from start to finish along the big zip.
Titan
Not just one, but two zip lines to conquer: Bravo and Charlie. Fly above the famous Llechwedd quarry in this thrilling seated zip line adventure. Soak up the sights and sounds of Eryri as you feel the freedom of flight and reach thrilling speeds of up to 60mph+.
Stadium Flyer
Scale the equivalent of over 200 steps to reach the roof's canopy. Fly across the canopy of the iconic stadium roof along this 170m zip line, hitting speeds of up to 27mph as you soak up elevated views of Wales' capital city.
Stadium Drop
Scale the equivalent of over 200 steps to reach the roof's canopy. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Principality Stadium and Cardiff city beyond, begin your drop experience from the stunning viewing platform and abseil 30m from the side of this iconic building.
Points to remember
- All our cancer research funding is spent right here in Wales, funding vital cancer research since 1966.
- Zip line and abseil challenges are completed on the day.
- Velocity and Titan: harness, goggles and helmet are fitted through an instructor-led process, including an all-important safety briefing. Your harness will be double-checked by an experienced instructor at all times.
- Stadium Flyer and Stadium Drop: you'll be kitted into a full-body harness, which will be your safety equipment for both the Stadium Walk and the Stadium Flyer. Your guide will lead you through the entire experience, and your harness will be double-checked by an experienced instructor at all times.
- Any participant under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and in most cases an adult must take part in the group.
- Stadium Flyer and Stadium Drop: due to the nature of this adventure, everyone must be able to walk and be physically fit.
